Public services touches our life on a daily basis. Roles within public services can involve working with the local community, investigating serious crime or working for the Armed Forces. BTEC Higher Nationals in Public Services are an ideal choice for anyone wanting to start their career, fast-track their existing career or learn more about the realities of working in the sector.

Pathways within this qualification

This qualification has been developed in collaboration with industry experts, universities, colleges and students to ensure that it is a programme that meets the needs of industry, as well as what you would expect to achieve throughout your course. To help our you develop in your chosen specialism, there are a number of pathways, some of which are listed below:

Please note this is a combination of pathways at both BTEC HNC and HND level. Colleges we work with may choose to deliver a selection of pathways which is why we suggest that you consult with your local college regarding exact options available to you.
