BTEC Higher Nationals in Social and Community Work (RQF)
These HNC/HND qualifications bring a new, responsive and refreshing approach to the Health and Social Care sector. Developed with input from employers, educators, students and service users, they sit alongside the sister qualifications, the Higher Nationals in Healthcare Practice or the Higher Nationals in Healthcare Practice for England.
These qualifications share core units, and practice themes across all units, focused on the core knowledge, skills, values and behaviours required of practitioners in the sector; we're taking a future-forward approach to integrated learning, training and work in health and social care.
Pathways within this qualification
This qualification has been developed in collaboration with industry experts, universities, colleges and students to ensure that it is a programme that meets the needs of industry, as well as what you would expect to achieve throughout your course.
As well as a non-specialist Integrated Health and Social Care pathway, the HNs in Social and Community Work provide specialist pathways at Level 4 and Level 5, in areas such as Social and Community Work Practice, Community Development and Social Care Leadership and Management.
