Social and Community Work (RQF)

The new RQF Higher Nationals in Social and Community Work bring a new, responsive and refreshing approach to Higher Nationals for the Health and Social Care sector. Developed with input from employers, educators, students and service users, the new qualification sits alongside its sister qualifications, the Higher Nationals in Healthcare Practice or the Higher Nationals in Healthcare Practice for England. These qualifications share core units, and practice themes across all units, focussed on the core knowledge, skills, values and behaviours required of practitioners in the sector; we're taking a future-forward approach to integrated learning, training and work in health and social care. As well as a non-specialist Integrated Health and Social Care pathway, the HNs in Social and Community Work provide specialist pathways at Level 4 and Level 5, in areas such as Social and Community Work Practice, Community Development and Social Care Leadership and Management.

Pathways within this qualification*:

Integrated Health and Social Care • Social Care Leadership and Management • Community Development • Social and Community Work Practice • Children, Young People and families Practitione
